Banaue Rice terraces, which were built 200 years ago by hand, are called
as the eighth wonder of the world by Filipinos. These man-made rice
terraces are famous in Philippines. It is said that it would have
covered half the globe if the steps were placed side by side. End number
of tourists trek up the Ifugao Mountains to view the terraces which are
used to plant vegetables and rice.
